2022 – Putting the Arts to Work:15 Years of Policy Conversations and Charting Pathways Forward

Each year, the Americans for the Arts National Arts Policy Roundtable convenes a select group of artists, philanthropists, and thought leaders in a lively dialogue that explores how we can create a more vibrant role for arts and culture in American society.

The 2022 National Arts Policy Roundtable, “Putting the Arts to Work: 15 Years of Policy Conversations and Charting Pathways Forward,” took place in Washington, DC on September 22-23, 2022.

The 2022 Roundtable highlighted the work of the past 15 years of Roundtables. We will explored the impact of the past 15 years and considered ways to advance pro-arts policy and arts and health work, as well as avenues to elevate the role of artists as change makers.

Americans for the Arts gratefully acknowledges The John S. and James L. Knight Foundation, The Ruth Lilly Fund of Americans for the Arts, and YoungArts
for their support of the 2022 National Arts Policy Roundtable.
